Truly epic in scale, The Perfect Kiss is the towering behemoth of the album Low-life. Fittingly it was given the five star treatment in the video department with no lesser man than Jonathan Demme of Stop Making Sense and The Silence of the Lambs fame being brought in to direct. It's a live video too with the band filmed in the studio performing the track. It appears in full on Fact 225 Substance. A segment of it was shown on Whistle Test on BBC Television. The video has its own catalogue number, FAC 321. Posters for the video were also made.

The minimally-stylish Peter Saville sleeve features the name of the title track embossed across the front and back silver cover. The inner sleeve came in different colours cyan, magenta and black. This would suggest that a yellow version exists but its existence is unconfirmed.
